Teaching Cornell Notes: Part 1

Although notetaking is not the most popular activity among students, it is a very effective way to promote learning and the retention of that learning. Once students see the positive impact of taking Cornell notes and working with them multiple ways to reinforce learning, as well as the negative impact of failing to all the parts of the process, they usually begin to embrace notetaking. This is an excellent PowerPoint to explain why and how Cornell Notes work. I will post this in multiple threads since it is lengthy. You can download the whole PowerPoint here: animopd.org%2Fuploads%2FEEEI.Edteam.GettingStartedwithCornellNotes.ppt
